Field Technician (Turlock, CA)
Job Overview:
AirCall Communications provides a variety of high-performance wireless and Two-Way Radio communications products and services to various mission-critical end users in both private and public safety sectors. As a team, we provide system design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance for a variety of customers across the government, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and high-tech markets.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Technician, you will be tasked with the field deployment of radio communication systems and products at a variety of customer sites. This includes:
- Field installation of Radio (RF) Infrastructure for UHF, VHF, 7/8/900 MHz Analog and Digital Systems using basic hand and power tools
- Configuration of RF and Network Infrastructure Equipment using manufacturer programming software or web GUI interfaces
- Set up of IP Network Equipment and Architecture
- Racking and installation of 19” rack mount equipment, often in IDF environments
- Performing network and coaxial cable runs and terminations
- Deployment of antenna systems on a variety of mounting solutions
- Installation and maintenance of Dispatch Console workstations and peripherals
- Programming and fielding of Mobile and Portable Radio Equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve wireless communication equipment issues for customers during Service Calls in a positive and efficient manner.
- Installation, commissioning, and testing of BDA/DAS/ERRCS systems
- Travel California Central Valley & San Francisco Bay Area Mountain Tops
- Rotating on-call schedule will be required

Qualifications
- Proficient use of basic hand and power tools
- RF and network cable and connector installation
- Basic knowledge of 2-way radio theory, general understanding of RF propagation. (Will train)
- Knowledge of basic RF, audio, and network signal flow (Will train)
- Ability to work off blueprints, line drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Basic IP / networking (IP address, subnet, gateway)
- Proficiency in operating various test equipment, including, but not limited to, spectrum analyzers, system analyzers, watt meters, TDR’s, FDR’s, and multimeters. (Will train)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Candidates must possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a security background check
- Willingness to learn new technology and obtain manufacturer certifications for our product suite
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher

Vehicle Installer Technician (Turlock, CA)
Job Overview:
AirCall Communications is seeking a full-time Vehicle Installer Technician to support the installation, integration, and service of mobile communication and electronic systems within fleet and specialty vehicles. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in 12V electrical systems, emergency vehicle outfitting, and mobile technology integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform partial to full disassembly of vehicle interiors and exteriors, including removal of seats, trim panels, dashboards, headliners, flooring, and lighting assemblies to facilitate equipment installation.
- Assist with the installation and routing of low-voltage (12V) electrical systems, including power distribution, grounding, and ignition-controlled circuits.
- Install, terminate, and secure wiring harnesses using industry-standard methods (crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, loom routing, and cable management).
- Drill, mount, and secure components such as radios, antennas, control heads, lighting systems, and auxiliary equipment in accordance with installation standards.
- Integrate communication systems, including mobile radios, antennas, and related hardware; verify performance using basic test equipment where applicable.
- Support installation across multiple vehicle platforms, including sedans, SUVs, commercial trucks, buses, motorcycles, and specialty units.
- Troubleshoot electrical and system integration issues, including power faults, grounding issues, and signal interference.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and rework on faulty installations or malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintain installation quality, safety standards, and proper documentation of work performed.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)

- Foundational knowledge of 12V DC electrical systems (preferred)
